The 2007 Senior All-Star Cross Country Meet will be held the
Saturday
following the State Co-ed Cross Country Meet. Senior runners will be
invited to this event by the All-Star Selection Committee.
Coaches and fans are welcome to nominate a Senior runner(s) by supplying
the IATC with selection information. The proper nomination is completed
by using the link to the nomination page. ** CLICK

Prior to the Senior Event an Open 5K
race on the course will be held for
anyone wanting to compete and run the course. There will be a $5 entry
fee and a limited number of T-Shirts will be for sale. |

| Regions |
|
The state is divided into four (4) regions; Northwest, Northeast,
Southeast & Southwest.
Please use the Schools by Region chart below in order to determine which
region the runner
will compete. Many Schools have been placed in a region in order to balance
the number of
schools for that region.
To determine the runner's region do the following.
Each Region is color coordinated.
1) Find the Class
2) Locate the school within that class (schools are listed alphabetically)
3) The color indicates which Region the runner will be assigned.

|
Only Senior Runners are allowed to compete in the All-Star
Competition.
(Other High School Age athlete can compete in the Open
5K)
40 total female runners and 40 total male runners form
each region,
10 runners per class, will be selected to represent their region of the
state.
Each athlete will be provided a meet uniform, T-shirt and pant. |

The Meet will be held at the Iowa State University National
Championship
Cross Country Course. The course will be a 5K course for both genders. |

160 senior athletes in each gender division will compete for
Individual honors,
along with competitions by Region as follows;
Each class will compete against the other classes in their region (4A, 3A,
2A, 1A)

All All-Star Runners Should be Checked in at the Iowa State University
Course by 12:00 noon.
At check-in each runner will receive a meet T-Shirt, Uniform and Race Number
(Uniforms Will Be Checked in following the meet or may be purchased for
$15)
All-Star Runners will meet with their All-Star Coaches for instructions
and information for

Travel to Ames and Hwy 30.
The Course is located just West of the Tower Dorms and southwest of the
ISU campus
Traveling from the East on Hwy 30, exit onto Elwood Drive and travel north
to
Mortensen Road. Follow Mortensen Road west to the course.
Traveling from the West on Hwy 30, exit onto S. Dakota Ave. and travel north
to
