Atlantic's Bruce Henderson was named National High School Athletic Coaches Association Girl's Track and Field Coach of the Year, and Harlan Ferguson, West Branch, was inducted into the National Hall of Fame for Girl's Track & Field. Congratulations to both. |

Team Iowa set Three (3) new meet records. Sara Stokes (North Tama) ran 2:11.82 in the 800m, Ar'tiana Black-Scott (Waukee), Emilly James (Waukee), Sarah Yeager (Cardinal Eldon) and Mariah Jordan (Iowa City High) in the Shuttle Hurdle Relay, and the 4x400m Relay of Shelby Forsythe (Ft. Dodge), Samantha Cameron (Bettendorf), Sara Stoakes (North Tama), and Colette Gnade (Waukee). |

The 2009 IATC Hall of Fame Inductees are: Dave Fetterman, Coach, from Tipton; Tiffany Pedersen, Hurdler/Sprinter, from Atlantic; Randy Thompson, Sprinter, from CWL.
The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place at the December Hall of Fame Banquet. |

The IATC is proud to announce the 2009 Track & Field Coaches of the year. The 2009 T&F
coaches will be honored, along with the 2008 Cross Country Coaches of the Year, at the 2009
Hall of Fame Banquet at the Iowa Track Coaches Clinic in Ames, sponsored by Championship
Productions. During the Hall of Fame banquet each Coach of the Year will receive a plaque
commemorating the event. For a list of the 2009 T&F Coaches of the Year follow this link.
