Division 1 athletes, that have met the qualifying standard, will compete in a Regional meet May 23-26 to earn the right to advance to the NCAA D1 Championships at Drake, June 6-9. The two regional meets are at North Florida in Jacksonville and the University of Texas in Austin. Most of the former Iowa preps competing at this level will travel to Austin. NAIA, D2 and D3 will hold their national championships on the same weekend, May 24-26. We will have previews of these meets sometime next week.
